  • 3/4pound turkey (7% fat works best)
  • 1-1/2tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 1-1/2tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley
  • 2tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1/8teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4teaspoon kosher salt
Parmesan Turkey Burgers


  • 1Place turkey in a large bowl with all ingredients. Using clean hands, combine and mix well, but do not overwork the meat. Divide and shape into 2 burgers. If not grilling immediately, leave wrapped in refrigerator.
  • 2Preheat an indoor grill to High.
  • 3Once preheated, place the burgers evenly spaced on the grill and cover. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, until well grilled and the juices run clear. The internal temperature of the meat should be 165°F when tested with an instant read thermometer.
  • 4Serve hot on grilled buns or English muffins
